Chimya, a farmer and a painter, is a sensitive soul. After loosing both of his parents, he experiences bursts of despair and emptiness. His body refuses to consume any food. The people around him are indifferent to his struggle. Some blame him, others nudge him to buckle up. Chimya, with the help of a friend's boat, manages to find a glimpse of hope - a few moments to not feel the loss and the resulting emptiness within him. His refuge are the migratory birds at a water body near his village. The short film frames Chimya's story as an allegory for the unending struggle of artists to maintain a balance between heightened consciousness and subdued conscience. Since the story was initially written as a poem, the treatment relies heavily on metaphors to let the viewers carve their subjective inferences from what they see in each frame of the short film. The directors derive their inspiration from Plato's Allegory.
